Species:
Sminthurinus granulosus Enderlein, 1909
S. granulosus was originally described from Iles Crozet, but may also occur on Macquarie Island (Greenslade 2006). It is easily found on Marion Island by beating A. stolonifera or P. cookii tussocks. S. granulosus individuals have a distinctive ochre yellow colour and black eye spots, with markings on the thorax, and is smaller than S. tuberculatus.
